After an exhausing 30+ hr journey (~20 hr flight time, with a baby crying in front of me and a kid kicking my chair from behind...), we finally arrived in K.L. We were greeted by my aunt and cousin, heavy rain, and crazy humidity. The K.L. airport puts the L.A. international terminal to shame. There was actually a mini rainforest and waterfall in an atrium in the middle of the airport!

In our first few days here, we have already had the opportunity to enjoy lots of yummy hawker
food (I am so gonna gain 10 lbs on vacation)! We had seafood at Port Klang - fish, giant prawns, crabs (which we crack with hammers!), and mussels. We've also gone shopping at a few "supermalls". One mall had a skating rink on the ground floor as well as touch-screen mall directories and a lighting system in the parking lot to show you where the vacant parking spots are - fancy stuff! We leave for Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (East Malaysia) this evening for a week-long family reunion with my dad's side of the family.
